Glendale Police Chief Visits the Prelacy

On Thursday, December 20, 2018, H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, welcomed the visit of Glendale Police Chief Carl Povilaitis, who was accompanied by Sergeant Dan Suttles, Public Information Officer and Adjutant to the Chief of Police. The Prelate was joined by Archpriest Fr. Vazken Atmajian and Executive Council Chair Mr. Garo Eshgian.

The visit began with an exchange of New Year and Christmas well wishes. The Prelate, who had delivered the invocation at Chief Povilaitis’ swearing in ceremony earlier in the year, once again conveyed his blessings and best wishes on behalf of the Prelacy. A dialogue followed on matters relating to the Armenian community of Glendale and strengthening of collaborative efforts. The cordial conversation continued over lunch. The visit concluded with an exchange of mementos.
