KAHAM Closing and Navasartian Opening Ceremonies

On the afternoon of Sunday, March 24, 2019, the 35th KAHAM games closing ceremony and festival and 44th Navasartian games opening ceremony took place at Birmingham High School. Archpriest Fr. Razmig Khatchadourian represented H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, and read his message.

His Eminence commended Homenetmen’s service to the Armenian nation through its valuable initiatives and commended in particular the Kaham games as a unique opportunity for students from all Armenian schools to come together just as the Navasartian games bring together members and athletes from all Homenetmen chapters as well as the community at large. The Prelate noted also that Kaham is more than a sporting competition as it unites our youth under the common shared values of our nation. Thus, their victories, their medals and trophies, are victories for our nation, our people, and our homeland. He concluded by wishing great success for the upcoming Navasartian games and all future endeavors.
