National Funeral Service to be Held for Community Activist and Former Executive Council Chair Armand Keosian

H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, and the Religious and Executive Councils mourn the loss of longtime Prelacy Executive Council member and Chair Armand Keosian who passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 in Palm Springs.

A national funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 30, at 2:00 p.m., at Holy Martyrs Church in Encino, followed by interment at Hollywood Hills Forest Lawn.

Armand Keosian faithfully, diligently, and humbly served the Western Prelacy since the early days of its establishment. He was a member and longtime Chairman of the Executive Council, Catholicosate General Assembly delegate, Holy Martyrs Board of Trustees member during the establishment of Ferrahian School, and participated in the Education Council of Prelacy Schools. In addition, he was a staunch community activist and leader within the ARF and the Armenian Cause for decades. Armand Keosian had a great impact and input in the formation and organization of our Prelacy and Schools. He was awarded the Holy See of Cilicia “Prince of Cilicia” medal for his valuable service.

The Prelate and Councils express their condolences to his wife Helen, children Greg and Chris and their families, sister Seta Zulalian, extended family and friends.
