Prelate Welcomes Greek-Armenian Community Activists Mihran and Zarmine Kurdoghlian

On Friday, November 15, 2013, Mr. Mihran Kurdoghlian, long-time educator, scholar, and community activist in Greece, visited the Prelacy accompanied by his wife Zarmine, also an educator.  The guests were joined by H.E. Archbishop Yeprem Tabakian, who is a close friend of the family.

H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, welcomed the couple and congratulated them on being awarded the “St. Mesrob Mashdots” insignia by His Holiness Aram I a month before for their commitment to the education of Armenian youth.  Given that Mr. Kurdoghlian is an alumnus of the Catholicosate Seminary, he and Prelate reflected on their days at the Seminary. Mr. Kurdoghlian also reported on the state and activities of the Prelacy of Greece and of the Greek-Armenian community.

The visit concluded with the presentation of a memento by the Prelate to the guests.
