In light of the humanitarian crisis in Beirut caused by the explosions on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, and in response to a community-wide appeal by the Pan Armenian Council of the Western United States, the Fermanian families, proprietors of Super King Markets and devoted sponsors of our community and Prelacy, have expressed their solidarity to the Armenian community of Lebanon through a generous pledge of $25,000 which they announced to H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate.
The Prelate conveyed his gratitude and commendation to the Fermanian families for their continued support, stating, “We express our appreciation to the Fermanian families, whose generous support over the years, a concrete expression of their faith, has greatly benefited our community and our Prelacy. Their latest act of generosity will contribute to rebuilding a vital Diaspora community and easing the burdens of our compatriots. May God reward their benevolence and may their heartfelt gesture inspire others.”
