Swearing In Ceremony of Los Angeles Police Chief Michel Moore

On Thursday, June 28, 2018, Michel Moore was sworn in as the 57th Chief of the Los Angeles Police Department. On behalf of H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, Chaplain Rafi Garabedian attended the ceremony which was held at the Police Academy.

The program featured remarks by L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti, City Council President Herb Wesson, and Board of Police Commissioners President Steve Soboroff. The Oath of Office was administered by Mayor Garcetti and Mr. Soboroff, after which the new Police Chief delivered his remarks.
