On Thursday, May 25, 2023, H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan, Prelate, welcomed the 5th grade students from Rose & Alex Pilibos Armenian School to the Western Prelacy. In attendance were Archpriest Fr. Vicken Vassilian, Principal Mrs. Maral Tavitian and teachers.
A short program was delivered by the students which commemorated the 105th anniversary of the Armenian Independence, and created a beautiful atmosphere within the Prelacy.
The Prelate highly commended the students for their efforts to memorize and learn the songs and poems, and congratulated the administration of Rose & Alex Pilibos Armenian School for teaching the students the riches of the Armenian language and culture.
The Bishop urged the students to become more “complete” Armenian-Christians by strengthening their national values and bring honor to their family, nation, Armenia and the Armenian Church.
