On Sunday, September 24, 2023, at the direction of His Holiness Aram I, and upon the request of H.G. Bishop Magar Ashekian, Prelate of Armenian Prelacy of Aleppo, Peria (Syria), H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan, Prelate of the Western Prelacy, granted Mr. and Mrs. Garo and Mayda Keledjian and Mr. and Mrs. Diran and Sossi Keledjian with the “Knight of Cilicia” medal. The “Knight of Cilicia” medal was awarded to the Keledjian brothers at the presence of H.E. Archbishop Souren Kataroyan and H.E. Archbishop Shahan Sarkissian, former Prelates of Peria. The medal was awarded on behalf of His Holiness Aram I, in honor of the Keledjians’ various contributions to the Prelacy of Peria, which spans over decades.
