It is evident from the actions of the Holy See of Cilicia, led by H.H. Aram I., Catholicos, has been engaged in this work for years.

In October of this year, the Western Prelacy convened the 50th National Representatives Assembly, during which H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan, Prelate, stated that a special fund should be created so that the preservation of the Western Armenian language can be carried forward with renewed momentum. The assembly unanimously adopted the idea of Bishop Donoyan and encouraged the formation of that specific fund.

Therefore, the Bishop and Executive Council had a joint consultation, which resulted in the approval of the Fund for the Preservation of the Western Armenian Language in Antelias, in the amount of one hundred thousand ($100,000) dollars.
