On Tuesday, April 16, 2019, H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, welcomed the visit of Homenetmen and Hamazkayin Central Executive representatives. Executive Council members George Chorbajian and Elizabeth Boyajian joined His Eminence.
Homenetmen Central Chair Karnig Mgrditchian was joined by fellow members Viggen Davidian and Oshin Peroomian, as well as Western Regional Executive members. The guests conveyed the greetings of the Homenetmen greater family, expressed appreciation for the collaboration between the Prelacy and Homenetmen and for the Prelate’s and Prelacy’s strong support. A discussion followed on various pan-Armenian issues, in particular engaging the youth more actively in the life of our church and nation. The visit concluded with an exchange of mementos. Mr. Mgrditchian presented the Homenetmen centennial memento to His Eminence.

Next, the Prelate welcomed the visit of Hamazkayin Central members Dr. Dikran Babikian and Manoug Joukhajian, who expressed special thanks to His Eminence, the Vicar General, and Executive Council Chair for their warm welcome of the three North American Regional Executives on March 16, and their expressions of support and collaboration. A discussion followed on issues relating to Armenian instruction and expanding collaboration between Hamazkayin and Prelacy Schools with regards to emphasizing the organization’s worthy cultural mission.
Both visits served as a wonderful example of the collaboration between the Prelacy and community organizations.
