On Sunday, March 19, 2017, the 41st annual gala of the Armenian Cultural Foundation took place at the Beverly Hills Hotel with the attendance of representatives from the ARF Bureau, ARF Western Region Central Committee, community organizations, Executive Council, sponsors and supporters. The event was sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Sarkis and Nune Sepetjian. This year, the organization honored national benefactor Mr. Hacop Baghdassarian with the “Man of the Year” award.
H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, attended and delivered the invocation. The Prelate blessed and commended the Foundation’s members for their mighty efforts in the advancement of our cause, the promotion of our national identity, and instruction of our youth, and more, as well as the sponsors and friends for their generous and valuable support. His Eminence commended Mr. Hacop Baghdassarian as “a shining example of generosity and goodwill, whose benevolence knows no bounds and who by example has inspired his children to follow in his footsteps,” and conveyed his blessings to him, his wife Hilda, and their family. The Prelate concluded by calling for harmonious collaboration for the greater good; the prosperity of our homeland, justice for our cause, and the flourishing of our nation.
The program featured remarks by Mr. Daron Der Khachadourian on behalf of the ARF Western Region Central Committee and Mr. Avedik Izmirlian on behalf of the ACF.
