His Eminence greeted the Homenetmen family, Honorary President Mr. and Mrs. Vicken and Nono Apelian, Exemplary Homenetmen member Dr. Shahe Yenikomshian, and all the sponsors and friends who had assembled for the culmination of yet another successful Navasartian Games. The Prelate noted that next year marks Homenetmen’s centennial, when we will honor the legacy and vision of the founders who established this worthy organization to ensure the proper national, spiritual, intellectual, and physical development and instruction of our youth, stating, “that this organization took shape a mere three years after the start of the Armenian Genocide is indeed a powerful testament to the resilience, resolve, and resurgence of the Armenian people.” On the eve of Homenetmen’s centennial, and in the Year of Renewal proclaimed by His Holiness Catholicos Aram I, the Prelate wished for all to undergo renewal, reorganization, and revitalization in their individual and collective life, with the faith and the hope that the seeds we plant today will yield an abundant harvest for future generations and open up new horizons for our nation.

On Saturday, July 1st, the Prelate, accompanied by Very Rev. Fr. Torkom Donoyan, Very Rev. Fr. Vache Balekjian, and Archpriest Fr. Razmig Khatchadourian visited the various booths and conveyed his blessings and well wishes to all.
