On Tuesday, October 11, 2016, Armenian Society of Los Angeles Board of Trustees and Executive Committee members paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, to belatedly congratulate his re-election as Prelate earlier in the year. The guests were Dr. Agop Aintablian, Board of Trustees Vice-Chair, Mr. Tomik Alexanian, Board of Trustees Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Albert Abkarian, Esq., Board of Trustees Advisor, and Mr. Hovig Gabikian, Executive Committee President.
The visit offered the opportunity to discuss current events and issues concerning Armenia and the Diaspora, especially the vital mission of preserving the Western Armenian language and heritage. The Prelate thanked the guests for their visit and wishes and for their readiness for mutual collaboration, commended their service, wished them continued successes, and wished that the unique heritage of Iranian-Armenians to live on through the coming generations. At the conclusion of the visit the Prelate presented mementos to the guests.
