On Tuesday, September 19, 2017, H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, welcomed L.A. County Sheriff candidate Bob Lindsey. The Prelate was joined by Executive Council Chair Vahe Hovaguimian and members Anto Kasbarian and Dr. Kaloust Agopian. Mr. Lindsey was accompanied by Gary Nalbandian of the Sheriff’s Department.
After introductions and an exchange of pleasantries, Mr. Lindsey spoke on his candidacy for the Sheriff’s post and his future plans. A discussion on concerns within the County ensued, during which Mr. Lindsey lauded the Armenian community’s contributions.
The Prelate commended Mr. Lindsey’s decades-long service and presented a memento. The visit concluded with an exchange of well wishes.
