Tufenkian Pre-School Students Pay Tribute to the Holy Martyrs of the Armenian Genocide at the Prelacy

On Friday, April 26, 2019, Richard Tufenkian Pre-School students visited the Prelacy to pay tribute to our holy martyrs in commemoration of the 104th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. They were accompanied by Director Arsineh Aghazarian and teachers.

The program began with the Lord’s Prayer, led by H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, who was joined by Archpriest Fr. Vazken Atmajian and Archpriest Fr. Gomidas Torossian. The students sang a number of patriotic songs, after which the Prelate conversed with the youth. In response to questions by His Eminence, the youth pledged to be good students and to remain faithful children of our nation, and also expressed their wish to serve our nation in the future in the example of their director and teachers.

The program concluded with the Prelate’s benediction, after which the students each placed a flower before the Genocide Centennial monument.
