EncinoChurchOn Sunday, August 30, 2015, H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, will preside over Divine Liturgy and deliver the sermon at Holy Martyrs Church in Encino. During the service, His Eminence will conduct the blessing of water with the new Holy Muron. We invite our faithful to participate in the uplifting ceremony and receive the Lord’s blessings through the Holy Muron.

PRELATE DELIVERS INVOCATION AT ARMENIAN BONE MARROW DONOR REGISTRY ANNUAL BANQUET

65007_IMAGE-285-2On the evening of Sunday, August 23rd, the 16th annual Armenian Bone Marrow Donor Registry “Match for Life” Gala was held at the Glendale Hilton. The Prelate attended and delivered the invocation.

His Eminence commended the great work and achievements of the ABMDR and beseeched the Lord’s blessings upon President Frieda Jordan, Board of Directors, and all the volunteers who faithfully serve to provide life-saving resources and hope for a healthy life to our brothers and sisters around the world. He blessed also the evening’s award recipients, commending them for their selfless service and support, and the sponsors and guests for their attendance and encouragement of the organization’s vital mission.

PRELATE CONGRATULATES 110TH ANNIVERSARY OF GLENDALE ADVENTIST MEDICAL CENTER

Adventist110thOn the evening of Wednesday, August 26, Glendale Adventist Medical Center celebrated its 110th anniversary with a reception held at the hospital. Rev. Fr. Vazken Atmajian attended on behalf of the Prelate and read the message of His Eminence.

The Prelate extended his congratulations and commendation to President Kevin Roberts, board members, staff, and volunteers, and wished them continued successes for another century of service. His Eminence referred to Glendale Adventist Medical Center as a beloved presence in the community, a place where patients are treated with the love and compassion our Lord instructs us to demonstrate to our fellow man. In conclusion, the Prelate beseeched God to lead the medical professionals in their daily endeavors as they strive to bring healing and comfort to those under their care, and prayed for God to bless the patients with the gift of health.
