Episcopal Divine Liturgy And 59th Anniversary Of Holy Martyrs Armenian Church

On Sunday, November 13, 2022, H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan, Prelate, celebrated Divine Liturgy and delivered his sermon at Holy Martyrs Armenian Church in Encino. In attendance were H.E. Archbishop Yeprem Tabakian, delegates, Sunday school students, representatives of community organizations and the faithful.

In his message, Bishop Donoyan addressed the necessity of following the light of Jesus Christ in the lives of the faithful, in order to overcome widespread evils and personal, familial and friendship difficulties of all stages of life. He urged all to follow the light of Christ, to stand against evil and turn to the power of the Lord with confidence. Continuing his message, the Bishop congratulated the 59th anniversary of Holy Martyrs Church, likening the church to the oasis which satiates the thirst of those around it. Thanks to the Church, divine light radiates into the life of the community. The Prelate concluded his message by beseeching the Lord to grant strength, hope and light of the Almighty God to all.
