On Friday, October 23, 2020, the Los Angeles County Supervisors held a prayer service at “Grand Park,” showing their support for the people of Artsakh. H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan, Prelate, was invited to deliver his remarks and prayer for peace towards Artsakh. Rev. Fr. Movses Shannakian accompanied the Prelate. In attendance also were H.E. Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Rev. Berj Jambazian and Very Rev. Fr. Armenag Bedrossian.

During his remarks, the Prelate stated, “We have gone through trials and tribulations all throughout our history. We are survivors of genocide. Yet again we are re-living the pains of genocide due to our faith and Armenian identity. From the millions of Armenians and virtuous people around the world, we lift our hands in prayer so that peace will reign once again.”

A group photo was taken following the service.
