The Feast Of St. Stephen The Protomartyr Celebrated In All Western Prelacy Churches

On Sunday, December 25, 2022, the Feast of St. Stephen the Protomartyr was celebrated in all Western Prelacy churches and on this occasion H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan, Prelate, presided over the Divine Liturgy and delivered his message at St. Mary’s Armenian Church in Glendale. Very Rev. Fr. Zareh Sarkissian celebrated the Divine Liturgy.

Prior to the Prelate’s message, the deacons dressed in priestly helmets, under the guidance of Bishop Donoyan, and singing the hymn “Stepanos Kaghtsrig Dadrag,” formed a procession and headed towards the altar.

In his sermon, the Prelate emphasized the dedication of St. Stephen, and urged the deacons to follow his path of service and to continue their unconditional dedication with renewed faith, for the betterment of the Armenian Church and for the prosperity of the Armenian nation.
