On Wednesday, March 29, 2023, H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan, Prelate, presided over the last morning service of Great Lent at Holy Martyrs Armenian Church in Encino. In attendance was Archpriest Fr. Razmig Khatchadourian, Pastor of Holy Martyrs Armenian Church, the Principal, teachers and graduating class of Ferrahian Armenian School, who, during the Bishops sermon were informed about the inspiring value of the centuries-old church hymns and the upcoming Holy Week.
After blessing the students, teachers and the faithful, Bishop Donoyan expressed that the last days of Jesus’ life as the most difficult but most true path to the salvation of mankind, the end of which is the mystery of the Resurrection, which is a heavenly celebration of the survival of the souls.
After the morning service, the Prelate participated in luncheon which was prepared by the Holy Martyrs Church Ladies Guild, during which a short program was delivered.
