On Friday, March 1, 2024, Very Rev. Fr. Zareh Sarkissian, Dean of St. Mary’s Armenian Apostolic Church of Glendale, on behalf of H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan, Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the United States, participated in an annual International Women’s Day of Prayer which was held at the Armenian Church of the Nazarene in Pasadena
On this occasion, Very Rev. Fr. Sarkissian conveyed a heartfelt message and well wishes on behalf of H.G. Bishop Donoyan. He emphasized the significance of similar prayer gatherings, pointing out that our world is filled with countless hardships, refugees, human and land losses. Very Rev. Fr. Sarkissian encouraged each individual to bring their contribution, through both prayer and work, in addressing these challenges, and to serve God’s Kingdom on earth, therefore becoming a beacon of hope and a guiding light for all humanity.
