On Thursday, January 19, 2023, H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan, Prelate, accompanied by Very Rev. Fr. Zareh Sarkissian, paid a visit to Vahan and Anoush Chamlian Armenian School, and were welcomed by the Principal, teachers and students of the school.
On this occasion, the students performed a short program. Thereafter, Bishop Donoyan emphasized on the importance of becoming a more virtuous and better Armenian-Christian person, and urged the students to pursue a higher education in various fields, so they may become better individuals in the future; first to themselves, then to their families and their surroundings and nation.
The Prelate stated; “Dear students, you are the future of our community and the life-changing spirit of our nation. Study, rise and shine your abilities even more by attending higher educational institutions, because you are the hope of our nation, homeland and church. You will raise the name of our nation in the years to come and protect the rights of our fair cause.” Bishop Donoyan added; “I have only one request from you, that you may be better than us, so that you can take better care of your parents, family, and as a sacred witness towards our homeland and nation.”
