On Thursday, November 7, 2024, H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian, Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the United States, received a congratulatory visit from Dr. Dikran Babikian, Member of the Central Executive Board of Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Society. During the visit, Dr. Babikian conveyed his congratulations to H.E. Archbishop Khacherian on his election as the Prelate of the Western Prelacy.
During the meeting, Dr. Babikian expressed appreciation to H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian for accepting his visit, conveyed well-wishes and congratulations from the Hamazkayin Central Executive Board, and shared the various cultural and educational activities and programs of Hamazkayin. Dr. Babikian emphasized the strong partnership between Hamazkayin, the Western Prelacy, and Prelacy Armenian Schools in collaborating on cultural initiatives and programs to promote and further advance the Armenian heritage and identity of the younger generations.
H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian expressed words of appreciation for the mission of the Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Society both in Armenia and globally. The Prelate highlighted the significance of Hamazkayin’s educational and cultural programs and projects in preserving our Armenian heritage, culture and identity within the communities of the diaspora. H.E. Archbishop Khacherian also expressed hope for continued cooperation, collaboration, and success between Hamazkayin and Western Prelacy Armenian Schools in their joint initiatives and programs and offered his fatherly blessings to members of the large family of Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Society worldwide, wishing them success in their endeavors.
