In 1985, the Armenian community of Pasadena began to establish its parish. Mass was performed every Sunday at a rented Church for nearly 17 years.  In 2003, the parish purchased the current property, which was blessed and consecrated in October of 2005 by His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia.
