His Holiness Catholicos Aram I described the Armenian Theological Seminary as the heart of the Holy See of Cilicia’s mission of spiritual and human formation and service. His Holiness delivered this message during a fundraising dinner organized in support of the Seminary by Mr. Krikor Topalian.
The event brought together benefactors, clergy, and community leaders. Remarks were offered by His Eminence Archbishop Kegham Khatcherian, His Eminence Archbishop Torkom Donoyan, Mr. Miko Melkonian, and Mr. Garo Ghazarian, each underscoring the Seminary’s vital role in preparing future clergy and strengthening the Armenian Church.
In his keynote address, His Holiness Aram I emphasized the Seminary’s foundational role, stating: “The Seminary is the foundation for the formation of the Cilician clergy. It does not only impart knowledge but also instills in its students the spirit and dedication to serve our Church and people. Today, more than ever, we need individuals who are committed to serving the nation, homeland, and Church with unwavering devotion.”
In recognition of his decades of distinguished service—particularly his dedication to the Armenian Cause—His Holiness Aram I bestowed upon Mr. Levon Guiragossian the “Cilician Knight” medal of the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia.
