
During his pontifical visit to the Western Prelacy of the Armenian Church of America, His Holiness Aram I met with community leaders and benefactors and visited several institutions and organizations.
Meeting with the ARF: His Holiness met with the ARF Central Committee of the Western U.S. In attendance were the ARF Bureau representative and the Co-Chairman of the Lay Council of the Catholicosate. They discussed various issues concerning California’s Armenian community.
Visit to the Armenian American Museum: His Holiness visited the Armenian American Museum, currently under construction, accompanied by museum representatives and members of his pontifical delegation. He praised the initiative and emphasized the importance of presenting Armenian values and traditions to American society through the museum’s future exhibitions.
Visit to the Hamazkayin Headquarters: At the invitation of the Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Society’s Regional Executive of Western America, His Holiness visited the new headquarters, offered his blessings, and highlighted the sacred mission of preserving and promoting Armenian cultural heritage—a mission Hamazkayin has faithfully upheld.
His Holiness presided over the opening ceremony of the hospital purchased by benefactor Mike Sarian, commending the initiative and encouraging partnership with the Prelacy.
