
In a significant gathering underscoring the strength of the diaspora, His Holiness Catholicos Aram I met with representatives of Armenian sister organizations on Monday evening, October 27, 2025. The meeting, held at the Prelacy Hall, brought together the prelates of the Western and Canadian Prelacies, members of the clergy, co-chairs of the Lay Council of the Catholicosate, and executive council members from the local Prelacy.
The event commenced with a welcoming address by Prelate Kegham, Archbishop, who warmly received His Holiness and his accompanying delegation. Archbishop Kegham provided a comprehensive overview of the activities and missions of the various sister organizations operating throughout California, setting the stage for His Holiness’s pontifical message.
In his address, His Holiness Aram I emphasized the foundational role these organizations play in the collective life of the Armenian people.
He affirmed that while each organization maintains its own unique structure, regulations, and priorities, a coordinated and harmonious collaboration is essential for the community’s continued vitality and growth.
His Holiness outlined a clear framework for effective service, focusing on four key principles:
