St. Mary’s Armenian Apostolic Church
500 S. Central Ave.
Glendale, CA 91204
In the heart of Glendale lies the pulse of the largest Armenian community in California, St. Mary’s Church. In 1975, under difficult and modest conditions, a small Church building was purchased. By 1985, the building was too small for the fast growing community. The current building was purchased, the blessing and consecration of which took place on July 10, 1988 by His Holiness Karekin II of the Great House of Cilicia (later Karekin I, Catholicos of All Armenians).
