
On Tuesday afternoon, May 27, 2025, H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian, Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the United States, welcomed the new leadership of the Armenian National Committee Western Region (ANC-WR) to the Prelacy headquarters. The delegation was led by Mr. Oshin Harootoonian, Chairman of the ANC-WR. Also present was Mr. Vahe Hovaguimian, Chairman of the Western Prelacy Executive Council and Rev. Karekin Bedourian, pastor of Forty Martyrs Armenian apostolic Church of Orange County.
In his opening remarks, H.E. Archbishop Khacherian congratulated the new committee members and commended the longstanding work of ANC chapters throughout the Diaspora, with particular recognition of the efforts and work being carried out across the United States. The Prelate also conveyed his support for the committee’s upcoming programs and initiatives.
The meeting offered an opportunity for mutual introductions and meaningful dialogue. The ANC-WR representatives expressed their appreciation for the Armenian Church’s spiritual mission in our nation and community and were encouraged by the Prelate’s words and guidance. The gathering concluded with H.E Archbishop Khacherian offering his blessings as the committee begins its term of service.
