On Thursday, October 29, 2026, H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian, Prelate of the Western Prelacy, welcomed attorney Mr. Hagop Hagopian, the representative of the Together Foundation, accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Angela Hagopian, at the Western Prelacy.
During the meeting, discussions centered on the challenges facing the Armenian community in Syria. Mr. Hagopian presented an overview of the foundation’s humanitarian and social mission, activities, and accomplishments, highlighting its cooperation with various communities throughout Syria.
Archbishop Khacherian commended the foundation’s humanitarian efforts and initiatives and reaffirmed the Western Prelacy’s longstanding commitment to supporting Armenian communities in the Middle East, particularly in Lebanon and Syria, through moral and financial assistance during times of war and economic hardship.
The Prelate extended his fatherly blessings to Mr. and Mrs. Hagopian, wishing them continued success in their humanitarian endeavors and expressing his prayers for lasting peace throughout the Middle East.
The Together Foundation operates in Syria under the support of H.E. Archbishop Magar Ashkarian, Prelate of the Armenian Prelacy of Peria (Syria).
