On Monday evening, October 26, 2026, H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian, Prelate of the Western Prelacy, together with Executive Council Chairman Mr. Vahe Hovaguimian and Council members, welcomed ARF Bureau member Mr. Daron Der-Khachadourian, ARF Western U.S. Central Committee representative Mr. Levon Baronian, co-chairs Mr. Raffi Sarkissian and Mr. Mike Keleshian, and fellow Central Committee members to the Western Prelacy.
The introductory meeting addressed community concerns and developments in Armenia, among the Armenians of Artsakh, and throughout the Diaspora. Participants emphasized supporting Armenian youth and entrusting them with active roles in public life and community institutions. Discussions further addressed the need to keep pace with modernization and implementation of programs and initiatives that enhance community life in the Western United States.
Reflecting on the concerns and challenges discussed, Archbishop Khacherian emphasized that Armenian community organizations and institutions, each fulfilling its respective mission, share a common commitment and contribute to the community’s well-being and development.
In closing, the Prelate commended the Armenian Revolutionary Federation’s 136 years of service and wished all those present renewed strength and continued success.
