On Sunday, November 5, 2023, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the consecration of Holy Martyrs Armenian Apostolic Church, H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan, Prelate of the Western Prelacy, celebrated Divine Liturgy, delivered the sermon and conducted the blessing of the offering (madagh).
Archpriest Fr. Razmig Khatchadourian, Pastor of Holy Martyrs Armenian church, alongside deacons and scribes assisted at the altar. The Divine Liturgy was attended by the members of the Executive Council of the Western Prelacy, Board of Trustees, delegates, representatives of various community organizations, benefactors, friends, students from Holy Martyrs Ferrahian Armenian School and Sunday School, as well as a large number of parishioners.
In commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the consecration of Holy Martyrs Armenian church, H.G. Bishop Donoyan expressed his best wishes and congratulated Archpriest Fr. Razmig Khatchadourian on the 30th anniversary of his ordination. During his sermon, taken from Jesus Christ’s teachings on brotherhood, H.G. Bishop Donoyan emphasized that Christianity thrived, spread, and brought light to peoples’ lives by eliminating discrimination and establishing equality among all of God’s creations.
After the Divine Liturgy, H.G. Bishop Donoyan held a meeting with local representatives and delegates at the “Yeghia Sarafian” hall of Holy Martyrs Armenian church.
