On the evening of Wednesday, May 15, 2024, H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian, Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the United States, was joined by members of the Executive Council of the Western Prelacy, Mr. Ara Shabanian, and Mr. Sarkis Tatikian, to mark the conclusion of a three-day series of congratulatory visits. H.E. Archbishop Khacherian and the Executive Council members graciously welcomed visits from national delegates, Chairpersons, and members of Board of Trustees, representatives from various community organizations and bodies, including the editor of Asbarez Daily Newspaper, Ladies Auxiliary of the Western Prelacy, Levon and Hasmig Tavlian Preschool Director and representatives, Holy Archangels Armenian Apostolic Church of Crescenta Valley and Armenian Apostolic Church of North Hollywood, and religious and lay administrators of the Western Prelacy Sunday Schools Directorate.
Similarly to the preceding two days, H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian familiarized himself with the duties and responsibilities, projects, organization, and future goals of each visiting group and offered his warm fatherly blessings and well-wishes, provided guidance, and encouraged continued collaboration and cooperation, considering the importance of educating new generations of Armenian Christians of various ages in matters relating to both religion and our collective national mission.
The visitors of the day conveyed their sincere congratulations and gratitude, and shared the obstacles, hardships, and challenges they are encountering. Following H.E. Archbishop Khacherian’s encouraging words, the visiting members and representatives departed from the Western Prelacy with a renewed sense of determination, perspective and outlook.
