Under The Auspices Of H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian, The Excutive Council Visits The Orange County Parish Community

On the evening of Tuesday, March 4, 2025, under the auspices of H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian, Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the United States, the Executive Council of the Western Prelacy visited the Orange County parish community as part of a series of visits to local parishes. The Prelate and Executive Council members met with Rev. Fr. Karekin Bedourian, Pastor of Forty Martyrs Armenian Apostolic Church of Orange County, along with the Board of Trustees and delegates. Also in attendance was the Chancellor of the Western Prelacy.

In a warm and welcoming atmosphere, words of greetings were exchanged, and discussions focused on the community’s progress, challenges, and future aspirations. H.E. Archbishop Khacherian and the Executive Council members also listened to the concerns and challenges facing the community, offering their guidance and appreciation for the strong partnership between Forty Martyrs Armenian Apostolic Church and Ari Guiragos Minassian Armenian School. The Prelate encouraged the ongoing development and expansion of programs that contribute to the prosperity of the Armenian community in Orange County, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between clergy and the community should bear abundant and meaningful fruits.

The visit concluded with a fellowship dinner, during which the parish leadership took the heartfelt initiative to congratulate and honor H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian on the 25th anniversary of his episcopal ordination with a celebratory cake. The Prelate, in a moment of gratitude, cut the cake and imparted his fatherly blessings, praying for divine grace, prosperity, and the continued growth of spiritual and national values and traditions within the Armenian community.

Moved by the warm sentiments expressed by parish leadership and members, H.E. Archbishop Khacherian commended Rev. Fr. Karekin Bedourian for his dedicated pastoral service and wished him strength and perseverance in his sacred mission for the glory of God and the Armenian Apostolic Church.
