On Tuesday, February 25, 2025, under the auspices of H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian, Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the United States, a Clergy Assembly was convened in honor of the Feast of St. Ghevontians. The assembly took place in the hall of St. Mary’s Armenian Apostolic Church in Glendale.

During the assembly, H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian directed the attention of the attending clergy to the importance of further strengthening the relationship and fostering closer collaboration between Western Prelacy parishes and their communities, emphasizing the opportunities presented by the current environment. The discussion centered on this specific theme, with clarifications, insights, and exemplary cases shared.

Additionally, the clergy exchanged views on observances, traditions, spiritual practices, and communal ceremonies of the Great Lent period. It was decided that similar productive discussions would be held monthly to further enhance the bond between spiritual leaders and their communities and to support the continued growth and development of local parishes and regions.

At the conclusion of the assembly, the clergy extended their heartfelt congratulations to H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian on the 25th anniversary of his episcopal ordination (February 20, 2000). They reflected on significant moments from his years of service, culminating in the H.E. Archbishop Khacherian’s words of wisdom and fatherly blessings.

To mark the occasion, H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian ceremonially cut a celebratory cake symbolizing his 25 years of dedicated episcopal service.
