His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Holy See of Cilicia, declared 2024 as the “The Year of the Formation of Human Resources”. Having in mind His Holiness Catholicos Aram I 2024 declaration, H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan, Prelate of the Western Prelacy, dedicated the Western Prelacy 2024 calendar to this objective. The images featured in the 2024 calendar pay tribute to the people of Artsakh and the young generation of Armenians from Artsakh, who have inspired our minds and souls with renewed aspirations and new horizons.
The calendar starts with a message of blessing from H.G. Bishop Donoyan, titled “Always be happy, I will say it again, be happy,” which H.G. Bishop Donoyan relates to the world and all of humanity. He also expresses his wish that the 2024 New Year and Christmas, with their joyful atmosphere, serve as opportunities for self-realization, allowing our hearts to be more open and receptive to God, the creator of the universe. During these two holidays, we pray to our Lord for peace, unity, and unconditional divine love for the entire world, amongst all people and various religions across the globe. We hope to see harmony from one person to another, from one family to another, so that our lives are free from war, displacement, destruction, tragedy, death, and sorrow.
