On Wednesday morning, October 15, 2025, H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian, Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the United States, received Rev. Viken Cholakian, Head of the Armenian Evangelical Church of Greece, who is visiting Los Angeles to participate in the World Council of the Union of Armenian Evangelical Churches. Rev. Cholakian was accompanied by Rev. Henrik Shahnazaryan, Pastor of the Armenian Evangelical Union of North America, and Rev. Soghomon Kilaghbian, former President of the Union of Armenian Evangelical Churches in the Middle East.
The cordial visit, which lasted more than an hour, brought together longtime friends for a warm and pleasant conversation with H.E. Archbishop Khacherian, who has previously served in Lebanon, later in Greece, and now as Prelate of the Western United States. Together, they fondly recalled past memories and experiences, exchanged reflections, and expressed their joy at this opportunity that once again brought together old and respected friends. The meeting concluded with warm wishes for good health and continued success.
