On Wednesday evening, January 28, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian, Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the United States, welcomed Ms. Lilit Galstian, Member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and ARF Bureau member, accompanied by Daron Der Khatchadourian, ARF Bureau member, Garo Madenlian, Chair of the ARF Western U.S. Central Committee, and members of the ARF Central Committee.
Also Present at the meeting were Mr. Vahe Hovaguimian, Chairman of the Executive Council of the Western Prelacy, and Executive Council members, Mr. Gaidzag Zetlian, Central Executive Council member, and Mrs. Knar Kortoshian, Chancellor of the Western Prelacy.
Archbishop Khacherian warmly welcomed to the Western Prelacy Ms. Galstian, the delegation, and all the attendees. During the warm discussion, the Prelate shared the recent accomplishments of the Western Prelacy, noting that as community activities have expanded, so too have the needs of the community. Archbishop Khacherian emphasized that the Prelacy’s religious and administrative bodies, staff, and volunteers are engaged and fully committed to addressing these needs.
During the discussion, attention was also given to the centuries-long history of the Armenian Church, operating through its two administrative bodies, its existential significance, and its national and patriotic character, emphasizing its role and place in the life of the Armenian people.
