On Monday, August 31, 2026, H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian, Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the United States, welcomed Mr. Stepan Der Bedrossian, Co-Chairman of the Central Executive Council of the Catholicosate of the Holy See of Cilicia, during his visit to the Western Prelacy. Also present were Western Prelacy Executive Council Chairman Mr. Vahe Hovaguimian, Central Executive Council member Mr. Gaidzag Zetlian, and members of the Executive Council.
Archbishop Khacherian and Mr. Der Bedrossian, longtime friends, began the meeting with a warm and cordial conversation. The discussion then expanded and focused on broader matters concerning the mission of the Catholicosate of the Holy See of Cilicia and its Prelacies.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Archbishop Khacherian extended his best wishes to the Central Executive Council for continued success in carrying out its mission, as well as to its affiliated bodies and committees in their respective endeavors. The Prelate also conveyed his heartfelt wishes for the well-being of the Armenian people, particularly those enduring hardship in Armenian communities throughout the Middle East.
