On the afternoon of Tuesday, June 4, 2024, H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian, Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the United States, was visited by Very Rev. Fr. Smpad Saboundjian, Pastor of St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Church of San Francisco, and Mr. Rostom Aintablian, member of the Central Executive Council of the Catholicosate of the Holy See of Cilicia and delegate of St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Church of San Francisco. On behalf of the San Francisco Armenian Community, the delegates extended their congratulations and best wishes to H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian for his election as the new Prelate of the Western Prelacy. They expressed their hopeful anticipation that H.E. Archbishop Khacherian would soon visit the San Francisco Armenian community to impart his paternal blessings and address the spiritual and national needs of the Armenian community in San Francisco.
H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian commended the Armenian community in San Francisco for their profound respect and affection towards the church and clergy, as well as their dynamic educational activities and promising initiatives, which serve as a testament to the community’s success and prosperity. Additionally, H.E. Archbishop Khacherian extended his heartfelt blessings to all members of the San Francisco Armenian community, expressing his eagerness to visit them in the near future, and shared that despite being physically distant, the community always remains close to his heart.
