Casps Congratulates The Prelate Of The Western Prelacy

On Wednesday, June 26, 2024, H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian, Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the United States, received a congratulatory visit at the Western Prelacy from the Committee for Armenian Students in Public School (CASPS), headed by Mr. Rouben Gourjian and Mrs. Medea Kalognomos, who serve as Co-Chairs of CASPS, along with Mrs. Arsineh Hovanissian, Executive Director of CASPS.

The members of CASPS extended their sincere congratulations to H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian on his appointment as Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the United States. During the meeting, they discussed the committee’s educational mission, and initiatives, as well as the goals and objectives being actively pursued. Additionally, the committee members conveyed their appreciation towards the Western Prelacy for consistently supporting CASPS in their efforts to promote the achievements of Armenian students.

H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian conveyed his appreciation towards the mission of this distinct committee, which focuses on the interests of Armenian students in public schools, for effectively carrying out programs and initiatives, including its annual recognition event for over 400 Armenian students. He commended the committee for its dedication to addressing the students’ needs and for its long-term goals and objectives. H.E. Archbishop Khacherian underscored the importance of the participation and engagement of Armenian students in universities in various spiritual, national, social, and humanitarian endeavors within our community and extended his best wishes for the committee’s mission.

The CASPS members extended an invitation to H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian to attend their traditional annual event set to take place on April 9, 2025. At this event, Armenian students who have excelled academically over the course of the school year will be recognized and honored for their educational achievements.
