On the afternoon of Tuesday, June 25, 2024, H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian, Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the United States, welcomed Dr. Karen Israyelyan, Consul General of Armenia in Los Angeles, on a procedural visit to the Western Prelacy. Accompanying Dr. Karen Israyelyan was Ms. Nazeli Hambardzumyan, Counselor of the Consulate General.
During the meeting, the newly elected Prelate of the Western Prelacy and the Consul General of Armenia engaged in mutual introductions. During the cordial meeting, H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian received the warm congratulations of the Consul General on his election as the new Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the United States. The Prelate extended his best wishes to the representatives of the Republic of Armenia in their political and diplomatic duties.
Considering the fundamental principle of transparent communication, essential in all kinds of relations, the two parties also delved into and discussed issues and concerns impacting Armenia and the Diaspora, emphasizing the significance of close cooperation between our nation and the Diaspora.
