On Sunday, March 27, 2022, on the feast of the Forty Martyrs, H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan, Prelate, celebrated Divine Liturgy, delivered his message and conducted the blessing of the madagh at Forty Martyrs Church in Orange County.
The liturgy was served by the pastor of the church, Rev. Fr. Karekin Bedourian and former pastor Archpriest Fr. Hrant Yeretsian. In attendance were Executive Board member Mr. Ara Shabanian, benefactors, representatives of community organizations and parishioners.
In his message, the Prelate urged us to stay away from the life of darkness, sin and addiction, and advised us to constantly fill ourselves with the unfathomable love of Jesus Christ and to strive every day to shine a light in the life of the individual and those around us and to do good works, so that Christ may rule over all of us.
At the conclusion of the Liturgy, those present headed to the “Ghougassian Hall,” where they attended a luncheon.
