H.E. Archbishop Torkom Donoyan, Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the United States, along with the Executive and Religious Councils of the Western Prelacy, are dedicated to the ongoing enhancement and expansion of the Prelacy Armenian Schools. Within this framework, in collaboration with Mr. Sarkis Ourfalian, Chairperson of the Board of Regents of Prelacy Armenian Schools, and members of the Board of Regents, as well as Mr. Vahe Tashjian, Chairperson of the School Board of Rose and Alex Pilibos Armenian School, members of the School Board, and Ms. Maral Tavitian, Principal of Rose and Alex Pilibos Armenian School, a new property adjacent to St. Garabed Armenian Apostolic Church of Hollywood was recently acquired. The 10,550 sq. ft. property is intended to facilitate the expansion of Rose and Alex Pilibos Armenian School.
Rose and Alex Pilibos Armenian School has experienced a substantial growth in enrollment each year demonstrating sustained success. The school requires expansion to accommodate a large number of new students who have been on its lengthy waiting list.
The acquisition of the property adjacent to St. Garabed Armenian Apostolic Church is a precious and valuable opportunity to serve the needs of the school. The convenient location and benefits of the new property make this purchase both necessary and significant, marking a pivotal moment in the extensive history of this educational institution.
We are pleased to announce that a comprehensive plan will be formulated in the near future to optimize the utilization of the new property in alignment with the needs of Rose and Alex Pilibos Armenian School.
The continued enhancement and growth of the Prelacy Armenian Schools is one of the principal missions, a source of great pride, and one of the most notable achievements of the Western Prelacy.
