H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian Presided Over A New Year And Christmas Celebration Program At Levon And Hasmig Tavlian Armenian Preschool And Kindergarten

On the afternoon of Sunday, December 15, 2024, H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian, Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the United States, presided over the New Year and Christmas celebration program of Levon and Hasmig Tavlian Armenian Preschool and Kindergarten of Pasadena. The celebration took place at the Armenian Center on Washington Blvd. in Pasadena.

H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian was accompanied by Rev. Fr. Boghos Baltayan, Pastor of St. Sarkis Armenian Apostolic Church. Also in attendance were Shant Yeremian, the grandson of the founding benefactors of the Preschool Vahe and Nora Tavlian, members of the Board of Trustees, National Representatives, the administration, and staff of the Preschool. Additionally, representatives from the Pasadena Armenian community organizations, parents, friends, and guests were present to witness the festive celebration of the Pasadena Armenian children. The program featured joyful performances such as individual and group recitations, songs, and dances to mark the New Year and Christmas.

In a festive and joyful atmosphere, Archbishop Khacherian addressed and praised the children for their delightful and flawless performances, commending the hard work of Dr. Garin Joukadarian, Director of Levon and Hasmig Tavlian Armenian Preschool and Kindergarten, along with the teachers for their careful planning of this festive program.

H.E. Archbishop Khacherian urged the community representatives, parents, and attendees, to continue supporting the efforts to preserve the national identity, heritage, and educational mission of Levon and Hasmig Tavlian Armenian Preschool and Kindergarten with the same moral and financial assistance. The Prelate emphasized, “This every program is rooted in Christian principles and faith, offering lasting value that keeps us away from deceptive and fleeting distractions and illusions of joy.” Archbishop Khacherian also urged everyone in attendance to uphold, preserve, and promote Armenian holidays and traditions in the lives of successive young generations and offered his fatherly blessings to all the children, adults, and elderly who filled the hall.
