On Wednesday, September 27, 2023, His Holiness Aram I Catholicos, held a virtual meeting with Prelates of the Holy of Cilicia. One of the participants in the meeting was H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan, Prelate of the Western Prelacy. The sole agenda item of the meeting was to provide support to the people of Artsakh. During the meeting His Holiness Aram I presented several recommendations to the attending Prelates and leaders.
A) On Sunday, October 1, 2023, to observe a day of solidarity and unity with Artsakh. To conduct a special requiem to commemorate all those who lost their lives in Artsakh, and pray for the healing of the injured and unwell, as well as the welfare of the distressed and suffering people of Artsakh.
B) To engage and participate in the forthcoming protests and other public initiatives advocating for the well-being and rights of the people of Artsakh.
C) To provide support for the social and economic needs of the people of Artsakh both in Artsakh and in Armenia.
