BEACON OF HOPE FOR THE FUTURE”
H.E. ARCHBISHOP KEGHAM KHACHERIAN
On Saturday, June 1, 2024, H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian, Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the United States, presided over the graduation ceremony at Holy Martyrs Ferrahian High School, and delivered a heartlet and inspirational message to more than 60 graduating seniors. H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian invited the audience, which included parents, relatives and guests, to rise and acknowledge the academic accomplishments and years of dedication of the graduating students who are at the peak of their youth. Addressing the graduating students directly, H.E Archbishop Khacherian conveyed, “Dear students, today, you are our source of pride and our beacon of hope for the future.”
In his address, H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian conveyed that as the newly elected Prelate of the Western Prelacy, the 2024 graduation season has commenced with the graduation ceremony of the first secondary school. On this occasion H.E. Archbishop Khacherian expressed that the Western Prelacy is recognized as “a school building and education valuing Prelacy, aside from being recognized as a benefactor Prelacy.” In his message, H.E. Archbishop Khacherian acknowledged and expressed his appreciation to the parents of the graduating students, who entrusted their children’s education to the Prelacy Armenian Schools. He also recognized the grandparents in attendance at the graduation ceremony, emphasizing the vital role they play as guardians and protectors of our cultural heritage and national identity. H.E. Archbishop Khacherian shared that our grandparents with their devoted presence, enrich the lives of their children, grandchildren and the community as a whole, illuminating our homes with the essence and spirit of the Armenian culture.
Communicating a message of optimism for a bright and a hopeful future, H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian expressed his heartfelt blessings and sincere congratulations to the graduating class of 2024, as well as the school administration, faculty and all present at the graduation ceremony.
