On Thursday, March 12, 2026, H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian, Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the United States, received a visit from Mr. Charbel Nassar, the newly appointed Consul General of the Republic of Lebanon in Los Angeles.
During the meeting, held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, Archbishop Khacherian congratulated Mr. Nassar on his appointment and wished him success in his new role. The Prelate noted that the Prelates of the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia also serve, in their own way, as spiritual ambassadors of Lebanon.
Mr. Nassar expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to meet and shared that the Consulate General remains committed to support members of the Lebanese community with a broad range of civic matters and inquiries.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Prelate and Consul General exchanged gifts. Archbishop Khacherian presented the Consul General with a commemorative album marking the 30th anniversary of the enthronement of His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia. In return, Mr. Nassar offered the Prelate a historical keepsake symbolizing Lebanon.
