On Monday, September 26, 2022, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh Mr. David Babayan, accompanied by Chairman of the Armenian National Committee of America Mr. Raffi Kassabian, members Ms. Anahid Oshagan and Ms. Hermine Pakhanians visited the Western Prelacy.
Due to prior commitments, H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan, Prelate, was not present during the visit. On behalf of the Prelate, Very Rev. Fr. Zareh Sarkissian, Dean of St. Mary’s Armenian Church of Glendale welcomed the guests.
During the meeting, the Chairman of the Executive Council Mr. Vahe Hovaguimian, the Vice-chair Mr. Mher Der Ohannessian, and the Secretary Mr. George Tchorbajian reflected on the solidarity and willingness of the Western Prelacy to support the people of Artsakh in various ways.
Following the meeting, Minister Babayan highly commended the assistance provided by the Western Prelacy towards the Armenians in Artsakh, and gave details about the current situation in the homeland.
