On Thursday, February 24, 2022, H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan, Prelate, presided over the Divine Liturgy at Holy Martyrs Armenian Church in Encino which was celebrated by Very Rev. Fr. Zareh Sarkissian, Dean of St. Mary’s Armenian Church in Glendale, on the occasion of the Feast of Sts. Vartanants.
H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian and the clergy of the Western Prelacy participated during the service. The atmosphere of the church was full of spiritual joy. The “Norahrash” hymn dedicated to Sts. Vartanants was sung, which was followed by the sermon.
At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, the clergy sang various national songs dedicated to Sts. Vartanants and renewed their spiritual and national commitment to our homeland and people. The festive atmosphere was crowned with the closing prayer of the Prelate.
